A day before the budget, on January 31, 2020, the Economic Survey for the 2019–2020 fiscal year was made public.This is the second budget of the second term of the NDA administration, led by Narendra Modi.Nirmala Sitharaman, India's finance minister, unveiled the country's 2020 Union Budget on February 1.The goals are to carry agri-produce, which includes horticulture, fishery, livestock, and processed goods, using an increased proportion of air.The Ministry of Commerce and Industry's Invest India, India's national Investment Promotion & Facilitation Agency, and AAI Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Company Limited (AAICLAS), a 100% subsidiary of the Airports Authority of India, provided assistance in developing the improved version of the Krishi UDAN scheme.The program intends to guarantee smooth, affordable, timely air transportation for all agricultural produce, especially those coming from the Northeast, hilly regions, and tribal areas of the nation.It was launched to help farmers transport their agricultural products and increase the value realization of their output.Krishi UDAN Scheme was introduced in August 2020 on both national and international routes.
